The holiday laughs keep coming with episode three, ‘Holidays and Holidaze’ as comedian Russell Kane and auntie Christine launch the next instalment of the ‘Nextbase Summer Unlocked’ four-part podcast series.
Kane declared it’s easier if men want to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night when camping.
“If men need to wee in the night they can unzip enough to project their wee into a bush and carefully rezip or you will be in a documentary for channel 5.
“Christine’s strategy, the next morning, as children were playing and bacon sizzling – Christine walked with a bucket of wee all the way from her tent to the shower black.”
Christine agreed, “Yes, a pound shop bucket from the pound shop.”
The series, commissioned by Nextbase – the UK’s biggest Dash Cam brand – will unpack what it’s really like to holiday across Britain and will see Russell’s beloved auntie Christine join him for a 25-minute tell-all show as a four-part series.
Episode three shares Christine as a superfan of Jane McDonald as a week’s cruise she was booked on had been cancelled.
Russell questions the appeal of cruising with auntie Christine saying:
“A lot of people cannot believe being trapped on a boat as a holiday. I would get real cabin fever. How is that appealing? No-one gets on and no one gets off. Jane McDonald every night, does that not scare you?
Christine said, “Oh she’s lovely, she’s got a beautiful voice and she looks like a lovely person.”
