Elliot John Gleave, better known by his stage name Example, is an English musician, singer, songwriter, rapper and record producer. His name arose due to his initials being E.G., which is an abbreviation of the Latin phrase ‘exempli gratia’.
He will be performing his biggest hits including “Changed the Way You Kiss Me” and “Stay Awake” at this phenomenal summertime concert!
Musician Elliot tells us …. “I have a longstanding connection to Essex… and in particular Chelmsford … my first girlfriend was from Hornchurch… my first manager and mentor was from Chelmsford… my first festival booking after my breakthrough chart success in 2010 was V Festival … my biggest ever crowd at a festival was V Fest 2013 … 90,000. It wasn’t entirely planned but it feels especially romantic that my first show back in the U.K. – post pandemic – is my old stomping ground of Chelmsford.
