CAMPER CALLING ANNOUNCES FINAL LINE UP FOR SOLD OUT 2021 FESTIVAL

Beloved family festival Camper Calling has announced the final lineup for its 5th edition, which takes place on 27th-30th August 2021 at its majestic lakeside location of Ragley Hall, Warwickshire. Manic Street Preachers, Supergrass, Pixie Lott, Embrace, Dodgy and Pixie Lott top the eclectic bill of music, family fun and foodie feasts.

In just five short years, Camper Calling has grown in size and stature to become one of the best loved UK festivals. Demand for the event has been phenomenal and this year’s festival sold out in record time and is operating a waiting list for the first time in its history.

Following a tough year for everyone, Camper Calling is set to host staycation of the Summer with a massive line up to match. Across the weekend, Camper Calling has announced its biggest bill to date.

The sense of community, joy and togetherness is what Camper Calling is all about. The enthusiasm and love from all our Callers drives us to produce a better festival every year and we are so happy that the event is sold-out! We can’t wait to be back in a field dancing with you and your loved ones under the sun!”

This year this festival opens on Thursday afternoon with a host of exclusive entertainment booked for those arriving early. ‘Staying Out for the Summer’ hitmakers Dodgy, ‘Worried about Ray’ and ‘Goodbye Mr A’ legends The Hoosiers and UK Skiffle-Pop Rascals Thrill Collins open the festival in style.

All round legends Manic Street Preachers headline on Sunday and will play hits and anthems from their exhaustive back catalogue, stretching from their 1992 album, Generation Terrorists, to their recent release, Resistance is Futile. Throughout the band’s illustrious career they headlined several festivals including Reading and Leeds and Glastonbury, and gained a host of music accolades including 11 NME Awards, eight Q Awards and four BRIT Awards. Camper Calling is delighted to welcome them to the main stage for what promises to be an unrivalled live show – with the possible premiere of brand new material, this one is going to be unmissable.

Britpop legends Supergrass will be taking over the main stage as your Saturday headliners at Camper Calling 2021.This iconic britpop band reformed in 2019 to the delight of their fans and with a huge catalogue of hits , Richard III, Sun Hits The Sky, Pumping On Your Stereo, Moving and Grace. This Camper Calling show comes off the back of their 25th anniversary tour and iconic set closer Alright is a must-see!

Playing for ‘All You Good Good People’, at Camper Calling are the one and only, Embrace! Following in the footsteps of Oasis and The Verve, Embrace found their feet in post-Brit-pop Britain in the late 90s. With three #1 album, six top ten singles, sold out arena shows and well over a million album sales behind them, we can’t wait to sing along to anthems ‘Gravity’ and ‘Ashes’, Saturday night at Camper Calling.

‘Mama Do’ and ‘Boys and Girls’ hitmaker and undisputed queen of UK pop, Pixie Lott, makes her Camper Calling debut on Sunday. The pop star has recently captured the nation’s heart as a coach from The Voice Kids UK and is an amazing live act. Camper Calling’s idyllic setting + Pixie’s atmospheric pop will equal a totally unforgettable experience.

Friday night at Camper Calling becomes Ibiza Calling, bringing attendees a flavour of the white isle all night long. From the producers who first brought you Hot Dub Time Machine and Silent Disco, the biggest party night, Symphonic Ibiza lands at Camper Calling in the headline Friday slot. Celebrate the European island of clubbing with unforgettable heart pounding dance classics created by DJ and producer Andy Joyce and composer Steve Etherington. Symphonic Ibiza fuses a thrilling live orchestra, DJ and vocalists with high tempo beats.

An eclectic host of acts await Camper Calling revellers. Stages will be alive with the sounds of Ellie Sax, Brinsley Ford ( The Voice of Aswad), The Magic Numbers, The South, The Hoosiers, Republica, DJ Spoony, Craig Charles, Jesus Jones, K Klass, Showhawk Duo, Dub Pistols, Altered Images, GoldieRocks and more. Something for everyone would be an understatement – this is a mind-blowing lineup to make you want to stay up forever.

Away from the music, there are plenty of fantastic activities to ramp up the joy at this wondrous festival. With family at its heart, Camper Calling hosts a range of thrilling activities for families of all ages from family circus and funfairs, to graffiti to glitter, big tops and bumper-cars to watersports and woodland walks.

Also new for 2021 is The Carnival Stage. Each morning the Camper Calling team will get you up, motivated and ready for the Calling with lively and energetic dance classes. From Tango to Salsa, African to Break Dancing, there’s something for everyone to join in with, whether you’re a beginner or a two-stepping pro!

There’s so much happening at Camper Calling, some serious re-fuelling will be in order, and the festival is upping the grub game. For 2021 expect dedicated street food areas where festival-goers can feed up, wind down and send their bellies on a world tour with cuisines from every corner of the globe. Add to this cocktail bars, a Bier Keller with live music, cafés, bars, shops and stalls. There truly is something for everyone!

Families looking for quality time together need go no further than Camper Calling family activities, where they’ll get the chance to make some magic of their own, including craft workshops with top creatives and the brilliant Mr Motivator exercise classes. Kids can get involved with live circus shows and there’ll be puppetry, award-winning children’s authors on hand to inspire. Teens who want to ditch the oldies and be on their own can head to the Graffiti workshops and Silent Disco. Guaranteed no teenage style will be cramped!

For the safety of all attendees , everyone over 11 attending Camper Calling will be asked for either proof of a negative lateral flow test taken within 48 hours of arrival at the festival, or proof of full vaccination – with the second dose having been received at least 14 days prior to the first day of attending the festival.
