The family behind Nutribox Meals are now serving Essex and beyond with their tasty and nourishing pre-prepared meal boxes. Joanne Roberts and Ian Rudgeley, owners of Nutribox Meals, used the first lockdown to enhance their offering and relaunched with a new website and exciting menu in Spring 2021.
Gone are the days when meal prep meant spending hours in the kitchen making the same three meals to eat on repeat for the next few days. Nutribox Meals have made it possible to have a variety of different nutritionally balanced dishes that are created by expert chefs every day.
Customers can choose from six plans, each with varying quantities of freshly prepared meals, that are all then delivered directly to them. Joining the subscription service automatically gives customers a 10% discount on their chosen meal plan.
Joanne Roberts, co-founder says: “Back in 2017 whilst running a juice bar in Chelmsford, we quickly learned of a gap in the market – fast food that was homemade and good for you. This is when the idea behind Nutribox Meals was born.
It is important to us to that we make meals people want to enjoy. We know having time to shop and prepare meals from scratch every day can be difficult, and as parents of twin boys we know that all too well. That’s why our recipes are for everyone and aren’t aimed at losing weight or restricting calories. We make flavoursome food that is nutritionally balanced and can be enjoyed by all the family.”
Since launching, Nutribox Meals have delivered thousands of meals across the UK and are the only meal delivery service in Essex currently using 100% compostable containers. Not only are the Nutribox Meals made from sustainable eco-friendly packaging, but the company help reduce food wastage by making sure they use up every bit of the ingredients used in each flavoursome meal.
Unlike other meal delivery options, Nutribox Meals deliver twice a week from their Essex commercial kitchen straight to their customers ensuring the absolute freshest of ingredients and maximum taste.
