DAM Health has today revealed a brand new way of making travel as affordable as possible for families across the UK.
Launching on Monday May 17th, Kids Go Free effectively halves the cost of testing for families and their children. Each child aged 17 years or under can be tested for free with a paying adult in one of DAM Health’s clinics, with trained professionals, with the same-day government-approved results safe and accurate for everyone. Prices start from £99.
Travel and holidays have been all but impossible for the last 15 months, so this is a pivotal moment as families prepare to experience again what they have missed – being able to travel abroad together to destinations again across Europe and beyond, to sun-kissed beaches, resorts and far-flung adventures.
And as the UK’s travel market opens up to Europe and beyond, the traffic light system has revealed which destinations are green, amber and red. Dam Health recommends to check all requirements and FCDO travel advice before they book any foreign travel, ensuring the correct certification to fly is in place.
Dam Health’s director of medicine, Professor Frank Joseph, says: “We have been scaling up the company in anticipation of some key moments here in the UK, and the first is travelling abroad opening up again. It’s an emotional moment for many, as holidays define a lot of who we are and where we go and the UK, as an island, has travel as its heart. We will have around 50 clinics open by the end of May and anticipate at least 250,000 tests by the end of June. With Kids Go Free, we are keeping the same level of service, accuracy and peace of mind with our PCR tests, making travelling abroad as affordable as possible. And we are still seeing this trend for in-clinic testing and the peace of mind this brings for all people, rather than self-testing at home or with postal kits.”
DAM Health started with one clinic in Liverpool where the company’s HQ is based back in November and has expanded rapidly, investing heavily to expand to meet the rising demand. Frank adds: “We are also soon to announce a series of testing partnerships across events, sports and business too, all part of our ambition and commitment to help these sectors flourish safely in the ongoing shadow of the pandemic.”
DAM Health provides rapid testing with same day PCR results, a unique service during the pandemic and throughout 2021 so far. They also offer PCR Fit To Fly, PCR Fit To Work, and also rapid antibody testing and antigen testing.
They have also launched 5 clinics and 2 labs in Spain with other European countries in development too, including France, Portugal, Mexico and Holland.
