England midfielder Jordan Henderson has partnered with NHS Charities Together, becoming an official Charity Champion, and will help ‘fundraise and promote the impact of NHS charities and the incredible difference they are making to NHS staff, volunteers and patients’.
Through the partnership, the Liverpool captain plans to launch a challenge this year which will raise funds for the charity while encouraging the nation to be more active, and he commented ‘This is a massive honour for me…. I am delighted to be the charity’s official champion and I’ll do what I can to shine a light on the amazing work NHS charities do to support the NHS’.
NHS Charities Together is the new trading name of The Association of NHS Charities, a membership organisation representing, supporting and championing NHS Charities.
