Here are easy ways to stay calm amidst the Coronavirus pandemic. Some may seem too simple, but give them a try. They do work.

  • Take a break from your gadgets. A day without scrolling your social media feed and reading news about the growing number of people infected with COVID-19 will do you a whale of good.
  • Control anxiety. Try deep breathing technique: take a deep and cleansing breath and hold it for 5 seconds. Then slowly release the breath for five seconds. Keep doing this until you feel relaxed. Taking CBD capsules or CBD oil for anxiety is another great way to unwind.
  • Stay active. Don’t skip your daily exercises for at least 10 minutes a day. Choose any activity you really enjoy: take a walk, exercise with a video guide, do yoga, or stretching exercises.
  • Eat healthily. Include more fiber from fruits and veggies into your diet. Drink lots of water and tea instead of drinks with sugar and artificial colouring.
  • Make sleep a priority. Try to go to bed before 11 p.m. and sleep for 8 hours. A short nap during the day can also restore your energy.
