Anyone with an NHS or HSC email address will be able to claim two £10 Uber rides to get to and from work, and a £10 meal over the festive season via Uber Eats.
The annual festive offer is available to all the NHS and HSC staff who have worked so hard over the pandemic and will continue to work round the clock over the Christmas period.
Uber Medics is also returning, in partnership with Mastercard. The service offers all NHS staff and UK care home staff in England and Wales a 25% discount on all rides until the end of 2020. If using a Mastercard, the discount will be 50%.
If riders pay for their Uber Medics journey with Mastercard then they will automatically receive an additional discount, making their ride half price. T&C’s apply.*
This holiday discount follows the 200,000 free rides and over 100,000 meals for NHS staff that Uber announced at the start of the pandemic.

This year, people can show healthcare staff how much they appreciate their work. Uber is encouraging customers to share their thanks on social channels using #GratefulUK .
NHS and HSC staff will be able to see the messages of gratitude in-app and the messages will be proudly displayed in innovative ways across the country.
NHS and HSC staff need to ensure that an Uber account is linked to their NHS or HSC email address by 20 December 2020. Users will be sent a promo code which they will need to add to their Uber account in order to claim the offer.
The Uber and Uber Eats codes can be redeemed for trips and orders throughout Christmas week, from 23 – 27 December 2020.
