Barleylands Recycling Centre will join all recycling centres across the county in staying open during lockdown, in line with national guidance.
Chairman of the Neighbourhoods and Public Spaces Committee Councillor David Harrison said: “This is good news for the borough and good news for residents.
“We are pleased to keep Barleylands recycling centre open alongside other recycling centres across Essex. This will give our residents the opportunity to dispose of their bulky and recycling waste in a safe manner.
“However it’s very important that restrictions are adhered to for everyone’s safety so please look up the guidance before making a visit.”
