This coming weekend The Chiswick Festival will celebrate the very best of British electronic orchestral music with an exclusive live performance by London based violinist Emma Fry, on Sunday 6 September.
Emma has performed to sell-out crowds all over the world in a wide variety of styles, which has seen her work with many high-profile artists including Clean Bandit, Eminem, 50 Cent, Ed Sheeran, Bring Me The Horizon, Maren Morris, Alison Moyet, Dermot Kennedy, Rhys Lewis, Marc Almond and Tom Chaplin.

The Chiswick Festival has proven socially-distanced events can be a success in London with a series of sold-out performances from comedians Russell Kane, Tom Allen, Simon Brodkin and Joel Dommett. The festival is running until 9 September 2020.
With the majority of the summer’s shows cancelled, The Chiswick Festival has been one of only a handful of events taking place. And organisers have a new range of social distancing measures to ensure the music keeps playing…safely.
Chiswick House & Gardens has been annihilated financially by Covid, having been forced to cancel all scheduled events for this year. Unlike many London green spaces, the park was kept open during lockdown for local residents to enjoy, but this cost a lot and now funds are needed to ensure Chiswick House can survive for future generations.
Thorfinn Armstrong, Founder of The Chiswick Festival says, “We are delighted to have assembled such a star-studded line up of comedians who each genuinely cares about the future of Chiswick House.”
“I grew up on the Park’s doorstep and spent most of my childhood there, so when I discovered the depth of the financial impact of the pandemic, I started thinking up a way to help. Everyone in the area is desperate for something to do, and meanwhile there are acts and performers with no outlet for their talent. So when the guidelines changed to allow outdoor events, we had a perfect combination that I felt could solve a lot of problems. We will of course be going overboard when it comes to safety and reducing risk of transmission – many of my family and friends will be there so it’s absolutely the number 1 priority. I can’t wait to see some of these acts myself, but even more than that I’m looking forward to making as large a contribution to the Park as possible when it’s all over!”
