Harlow SOUP is seeking submissions for their next online event on Thursday September 24th. Local individuals, projects and groups can apply directly on the Harlow SOUP website to be part of the next online event which will be broadcast Live on Facebook. The only criteria for project submissions is that Harlow must benefit in some way from the great idea!
Since the Covid-19 restrictions, Harlow SOUP have held two successful online events with the first at the start of lockdown seeing over £1500 raised which was distributed to Harlow College, Harlow Foodbank and Community Embrace for specific projects relating to easing the impact of the pandemic in Harlow.
The second online Harlow SOUP which took place in May, featured four brilliant local projects sharing a split of the funds raised according to the online vote, with the largest vote share going to new mental health project, Butterfly Effect and The Square Harlow.
Both previous online events have been well attended and have showcased a fantastic range of live music from performers such as Lauren McKay, Billy Lunn, and the Voices of Harlow Choir. Stay tuned for details of musicians who will be performing at the next event!
