Ellisons Solicitors announce appointment of new Commercial Property Partner

Ellisons has announced the appointment of Andrew Fernandes as a Partner in its highly regarded Commercial Property team.

Andrew will be based at the firm’s Chelmsford office in New London Road, where the firm relocated to last year.

Andrew has a wealth of experience in commercial property transactions including the acquisition and disposal of land for residential and commercial development, advising on conditional contracts, options and overage agreements, and acting for both landlords and tenants in the granting and assigning of commercial leases. He also has considerable experience in banking and secured lending, advising banks on a wide variety of secured lending transactions.

Prior to joining Ellisons, Andrew was a Partner at Nockolds, having previously worked in the City.

The appointment of Andrew brings Ellisons total number of partners to 30, across its offices in Essex and Suffolk.

In addition, the team is offering clients a number of flexible meeting options from traditional face-to-face consultations within the Ellisons offices, to telephone calls, and virtual meetings, all designed to help clients at this difficult time.
