JMW Media, supported by Essex Chambers of Commerce, are helping Essex-based businesses get back on their feet by offering over £22,000 worth of free outdoor advertising to 50 organisations.
JMW Media operates almost 200 outdoor advertising screens across Essex, located at bus shelters, park and rides, and in the county’s city and town centres. The company will be offering free advertising space in Chelmsford, Colchester, Southend, Basildon, Billericay or Wickford for four weeks for up to 50 businesses or charities operating across Essex.
The move is part of JMW Media’s campaign to help kick start the local economy. Chris Ryan, Director, JMW Media, explains: “The pandemic has hit businesses and charities hard, we’re committed to supporting the communities we serve and have created a programme that will support organisations to get back on their feet and #KickStartEssex.”Chris continued: “We have almost 200 screens in Essex, which are typically seen by hundreds of thousands of people each week, thanks to over 120,000 buses stopping by our outdoor screens. Our advertising is a great way to let people know you’re open for business, perhaps recruiting new people or undertaking fundraising drives.”
When Covid-19″ crisis broke, Essex Chamber of Commerce, launched support programmes to quickly help deliver essential resources where they were needed to both the public and private sectors across the county by working with businesses of all types and sizes.
Denise Rossiter, Chief Executive, explains: “Through our Rebuild & Recover programme, we are currently supporting our members and business within Essex by sharing advice and expertise as well as hosting online meetings with influential people, and Government Ministers.
“This pandemic has proved very challenging for the business community so we are delighted to support this initiative to help Essex-based companies advertise their products and services.”
