The freehold of the former Gamet Bearings Facility on Hythe’s Station Road is to be sold at auction via Acuitus with a guide price of £750,000.
The building is one of Colchester’s most prominent and longest standing industrial buildings, and was occupied by Gamet Bearings until 2019.
It comprises approximately 30,650 sq ft of warehouse and office space across a 1.10 acres site and forecourt parking for approximately 15 cars.
David Margolis of Acuitus comments, “The property is located within Colchester’s industrial hub, on a well-established estate, with good road links giving it the versatility for either re-development, change of use and refurbishment.”
The auction will take place on July 9th at 2pm and will be broadcast via livestream on the Acuitus website and is open to remote bidding.
