The shortlist has been announced for the 2020 First Time Buyer Readers’ Awards. The award organisers saw a record number of entries this year, including some of the best-known names in property, as the prestigious awards celebrate the industry’s successes for first time homebuying.
An esteemed panel of judges were tasked with narrowing down the entries into shortlists in 18 categories, including brand new categories: Best Partnership, Best Age-Exclusive Housing and Best Use of a Government Scheme. However, the final decision is given to the readers of the magazine, as the public are invited to vote to choose their winners for each category online via the awards website.
Categories for the First Time Buyer Readers’ Awards 2020 include; Private Developer of the Year, Affordable Housing Provider of the Year, Best Small Development, Best Large Development, Best First Time Buyer Family Home, Best First Time Buyer Apartment, Best Law Firm for Conveyancing, Best Partnership, Best Urban Regeneration Project, Most Innovative Marketing Campaign, Best Age-Exclusive Housing, Best Show Home, Best Supplier to the FTB Market, Best New Development in the South, Best New Development in the North, Best Off-Plan Development for First Time Buyers, Best Use of a Government Scheme, Judges Special Award for Outstanding Contribution to the First Time Buyer Market.

Voting for the First Time Buyer Readers Awards opened on Monday 3rd February, with the public able to vote for their winners until midnight on Friday 3rd April. Readers can vote online at www.ftbawards.com.
