Runners from across the South East have taken part in the 40th annual Roding Valley Half Marathon at Ashton Playing Fields – sponsored once again by Haslers Chartered Accountants.
Hundreds of runners from across Essex, London and the surrounding area took part in the event in a number of competitive categories to see who is the fastest in the region.
Haslers Chartered Accountants, based in Loughton, are long time sponsors of Woodford Green AC with Essex Ladies, who organise the event each year.
The overall fastest time on the day was set by Michael Roberts, who completed the 13.1-mile run in just 1 hour, 18 minutes and 34 seconds. The fastest female run of the day was Vicky Henderson, who set a blistering time of 1 hour, 32 minutes and 27 seconds. Orion Harriers were winners of the Haslers Team Trophy.
