Nadine Coyle rounded off a glitzy evening in aid of the children’s charity Make-A-Wish® UK last night at their annual fundraising Valentine’s Ball held at The Royal Lancaster Hotel.
The singer, who was recently a contestant on I’m A Celebrity 2019, entertained guests with an energetic performance of several songs including her recently released single, All That I Know.
Almost 200 guests from the business, influencer and wish communities were treated to a champagne reception, exquisite three-course meal, a raffle, and two auctions hosted by BBC Flog It’s Thomas Forrester, who whipped up enthusiasm for the main auction of the evening, helping to raise vital funds for the charity in a time of unprecedented demand.
The event was hosted by popular CBBC presenter and journalist Lauren Layfield, as well as presenter, magician and YouTuber, Archie Manners. It raised thousands of pounds to help the charity continue to grant life-changing wishes for critically ill children at a time of unprecedented demand.
Guests could also bid to sponsor wishes including a wish to be a king for the day and a wish to visit Port Lympne Safari Park.
West End Kids opened the evening with a performance that included hits from the West End musical Waitress. The evening came to a close with rousing tunes by iPop.
Afterwards, Make-A-Wish Chief Executive Jason Suckley said: “I remain astounded by – and forever indebted to – our supporters and patrons, whom, once again, have shown nothing but generosity and support towards the charity and the vital work we do to bring joy and hope to seriously ill children and their families at a time they desperately need it.”
