The CEO of Essex based Romet Group has blasted next month’s General Election saying it will do “very little” to boost business confidence in the hospitality sector.
Romet Group who own and operate a number of local eateries including PIvaz Restaurants, Venerdi Restaurant and Cod&Co in Hackney to name a few have often spoke of the squeeze their group is facing as a direct result of Brexit.
Lorenzo Manconi, CEO of Romet Group told us “IT would be very ill-informed for politicians to think that this whole fiasco hasn’t left businesses like mine in a place of need.”
He added “Next month’s general election is not helping boost business confidence and going into the busy time we usually experience in December I am concerned that this election will do very little to increase confidence amongst our customers to go out and spend.”
