More than 50 businesses have booked to exhibit at the Basildon Business Expo, the largest annual business to business event in Basildon taking place next week (Thursday 24 October) at the Holiday Inn in Basildon from 10am-3pm.
Whilst exhibition stands have sold out – there is still time to join the growing number of pre-booked visitors and register your place.
The Expo, organised by Essex Chambers of Commerce and Basildon Council will start with a breakfast networking event from 8.30am to 10.00am. As well as the opportunity to meet with like-minded business people from Basildon and beyond, attendees will hear from the Chairman of Basildon Council’s External Affairs, Partnerships and Liaison Committee, Councillor Aidan McGurran, about the council’s plans for the future of the town and supporting local businesses.
The Mayor of Basildon, Councillor David Burton-Sampson will officially open the Expo for visitors at 10am. Exhibitors will get an opportunity to showcase their business, whilst visitors will be able to make new connections, build on existing business relationships or find out about how to access the wide range of available support for local businesses in the borough.
Councillor Adele Brown, Basildon Council’s Chairman of the Infrastructure and Inclusive Growth Committee said: “We are delighted to continue our partnership with the Essex Chambers of Commerce to deliver this event that shows Basildon as a great place to do business and it’s events like this that promote why the borough is a good place to invest.
“The Expo is a great event for businesses to share their success stories, network and to hopefully secure more business. I would encourage anyone who hasn’t already booked their visitor place to register now and not leave it too late.”
