Leading employee research consultancy, The Survey Initiative, celebrated being a runner-up at the Essex Business Excellence Awards, by organising a fundraiser for Breast Cancer Now.
The company wanted to do something different to mark their achievement and share their success with all employees. The Survey Initiative consulted its staff, who decided to organise a special coffee morning to celebrate their runner-up position and raise much-needed funds for the cancer charity at the same time.
Gary Cattermole, Director, The Survey Initiative, says: “We were delighted to be a runner-up in the Professional Services category at the Essex Excellence Business awards. We’re grateful for our success and keen to share that with our employees and local community. Like with many organisations, several of our staff members have been affected by cancer and we were keen to support Breast Cancer Now.”
The coffee morning was a big success with clients, colleagues and other businesses coming together to have a chat over coffee and cake; the event raised £479.06!
The multi-award-winning company was shortlisted for the Essex Business Excellence Awards thanks to their innovative range of employee research services. The Wix-based company, which counts Scania (Great Britain) Ltd, The AA, Saint Gobain and numerous NHS Trusts amongst its many clients, has quickly expanded its employee research services and now offers a wide range of online research tools as well as group and one-to-one consultancy services.
The Survey Initiative was set-up over ten years ago to create bespoke employee surveys and employee consultation services to big brands and SMEs. The company specialises in employee engagement, 360-degree surveys, staff surveys and employee empowerment surveys.
