Essex entrepreneur Zayn Bux has launched an awards event to celebrate local businesses and unsung heroes.
The award-winning tycoon who owns London TV and Manchester TV has today announced that he will be launching the LondonTV Awards in 2020.
The awards will celebrate unsung heroes from London, local businesses and charities from the capital.
We sat down with the 17-year old who has previously been crowned Essex’s Young Entrepreneur Of The Year.
Q. Zayn, you have been quiet for most of 2019 – how has the year been for you?
ZB: I have been making what I like to call underground noise, a lot of what I’ve been working on won’t make noise until 2020, I’ve been active, training and improving my football skills as I can not let my talent go to waste.
Q. So you have announced the LondonTV Awards today – what do these mean to you?
ZB: Well before I get into that, I funnily enough wanted to launch these awards this year but I started training with the Leicester FC youth squad and had to focus on that for a while.
The LondonTV Awards to me is a platform for me to give back to the city of London, there are so many hardworking people and unsung heroes who need identifying and celebrating and whilst there are many awards schemes in place – I would like to play a part in celebrating their achievements.
