This summer, Real Iced Tea by Lipton will be jazzing up the nation’s water, with London’s first of its kind festival, Jazz on the Water.
Since it first hit shelves in February, Real Iced Tea by Lipton has been jazzing up the nation’s water bottles with the delicious taste of cold brew iced tea. This summer, they’ll be taking it even further – quite literally making water more fun by hosting London’s first ever floating festival, Jazz on the Water. For one day only on Saturday 10th August in Waterloo, the exclusive free festival promises a to-tea-lly fresh take on summer in the city, with bands taking to a floating stage in the middle of a swimming pool.
Festival goers will be able to take a break from the summer’s heatwave and quench their thirst with bottomless helpings of Lipton’s refreshing new Real Iced Tea. Available in five delicious flavours, including Black Tea with Peach & Apricot and Green Tea with Rose and Elderflower, there is something for everyone to try!
Headlining Jazz on the Water is contemporary brass band Dat Brass Acoustic Soundsystem, who will be giving the ultimate singalong pop hits a jazzy vibe with their upbeat covers. Dat Brass Acoustic Soundsystem will be joined by a range of supporting acts who will warm up the crowds throughout the afternoon. Each band will be quite literally ‘jazzing up the water’, as they perform from a stage within the pool!
Festival goers can expect to be treated to more Real Iced Tea than they can shake a stick at. Guests will receive their own reusable Real Iced Tea water bottle to keep them refreshed all afternoon whilst they relax and listen to jazz in the sun, and will be treated to guilt-free poolside summery snacks. This summer hotspot is the perfect place to bring along a picnic and listen (and sing) to some of the coolest tunes or enjoy tasty takeaways without getting off your picnic blanket.
With fresh sounds being performed, deck chairs to chill out on, fruity inflatables and the chance to cool off with a paddle in the pool, the seriously Instagrammable jazz fest will run all afternoon from 1pm-6pm.
