Crepe City’s sneaker festival will be taking place at Boxpark Wembley on Sunday 21st July. The event will take place from 12-5pm with tickets available for £10, featuring live DJ performances, sneaker masterclasses and over 150 traders selling rare trainer silhouettes and iconic British Streetwear Apparel brands such as Supreme and BAPE.
In addition to showcasing the most hyped sneaker and streetwear brands, the Crepe City team will be on the lookout for the person with the best ‘heat on feet’ to win a special prize. There will also be a raffle taking place offering sneakerheads the chance to win a pair of Nike MAG trainers, inspired by Back to the Future 2’s self-lacing trainers. The Nike MAG sneakers are valued at over £6,000 and all proceeds from the raffle will go towards Parkinson’s UK.
Boxpark Wembley creates the perfect atmosphere to spend the day socialising with other sneaker fans, grabbing a drink from the BeatBox bar after a tiring day of buying and selling rare and unusual trainer models. There’s also an incredibly diverse line-up of food traders available at Boxpark, including Michelin starred chef Rohit Ghai’s latest food concept KoolCha, authentic pizza experts Zia Lucia and award-winning burger connoisseurs Cut + Grind.
Crepe City was founded by Ronal Raichura in 2009 as a way to bring people together with a passion for footwear. Initially hosted in a basement venue in Notting Hill with just 100 attendees, Crepe City festival is now a leading sneaker event across Europe, and the upcoming event at Boxpark Wembley is expected to see over 2,000 streetwear fanatics through the doors. Crepe City will be celebrating 10 years at the forefront of the UK trainer scene, with clothing brands from around the UK presented alongside local footwear sellers.
