Family panto tickets up for grabs for your views on leisure and culture in the borough
From eating out to visiting your local park, the council wants to know what residents think about leisure and cultural activities in the borough and what could be improved, by completing their Leisure and Culture survey. This public consultation has been running for the last month and closes on Monday 1 July 2019.
Councillor David Harrison, Chairman of the Neighbourhoods and Public Spaces Committee, said: “We want to hear from as many people as possible as the feedback we receive will help to shape the boroughs’ future.
“Leisure and culture are important parts of the community and help bring us all together. We want to make sure we understand what that means to our residents so that we can shape the future of the borough in a way that will enhance the health and wellbeing of everyone who lives in the borough.”
To take part in the consultation and be entered into a free prize draw to win a family ticket to this year’s Towngate Theatre pantomime Dick Whittington, visit www.basildon.gov.uk/leisuresurvey and complete the survey by Monday 1 July.
