The countdown is on for this year’s Life Arts Wellbeing Festival which takes place at Chelmsford City Racecourse on 15-16 June 2019. The event has been billed as the ‘the largest wellbeing festival in East Anglia’ and unlike previous years will have a big emphasis on wellbeing with the launch of a new yoga studio.
The festival will also offer cookery demonstrations, NHS health checks, pain relief workshops, live music, mindfulness, meditation, holistic and spiritual healing and more.
Organising the event is the festival’s founder, Chris Cozens, he’s excited about what’s in store for 2019. He says: “Many people are suffering from aches and pains, anxiety and stress, or looking to boost their general wellbeing, our festival helps people move their life forward. We’re able to offer a wide range of spiritual and holistic advice, plus workshops where visitors can, for example, try a gong bath, reflexology or learn how to cook healthy snacks. We also have some of the most engaging speakers and gurus joining our event, plus over 120 stands for visitors to enjoy.”
He continued: “The festival is also a must for families. This year we’ll be offering face painting, story time yoga, henna tattoos, a 150-strong Essex Rock Choir and a chance to get up close with furry and scaly creatures in animal encounters*.”
The new yoga studio will include restorative yoga, pilates, hatha yoga, chair yoga, gong bath, drum circle, yoga flow and a family rave! They’ll also be a ‘Buddha Cave’ where meditation guidance classes will take place, plus a relaxing ‘chill-out’ space to give visitors the chance to reflect and relax to the gentle sounds of a live musician.
The Life Arts Wellbeing Festival will welcome experts from a wide range of spheres including TV presenter, author and superfood chef, Juliette Bryant, who will demonstrate how to cook healthy food on a budget. Top chiropractor, Alex Cover, will talk about how to let go of pain by releasing blocked energies. There’s also workshops from mystic, Flavia Kate Peters, and shaman, Barbara Meiklejohn-Free, to discover how you can face your fears and rid your life of phobias and anxiety.
Many other wellbeing experts from all over the UK will also attend the event, allowing visitors to explore a wide range of holistic therapies, from life coaching, feng shui and mental health to wholesome food, spiritual art, psychics and mediums.
The Life Arts Wellbeing Festival will also be raising much-needed funds for the Helen Rollason Cancer Charity.
