British Asian Trust Patron and Essex Businessman Frank Khalid attended a Ramadan dinner at the Savoy last week.
The dinner in aid of the British Asian Trust saw Khalid join fellow patrons, charity benefactors, supporters and leading business figures from the UK to celebrate the work the charity does and it served a special purpose ahead of Ramadan which commences next week.
The Pakistani cricket team were also guests of the dinner and where pictured with Khalid on the night. Frank got to meet many of them to talk about cricket.
Frank helped raise over £500,000 for British Asian Trust on the night.
The British Asian Trust was founded in 2007 by His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales and a group of pre-eminent British Asian business leaders. The Trust works to tackle the widespread poverty and hardship in South Asia to which millions are currently subjected.
