Local artist Jodie Grayer‘s new track dubbed “Augmented Junkie” has been released!
The track features guitarist Dean Bonning!
Composer qualifications: Jodie Grayer has a Masters degree in Orchestral composition for Film and TV from London College of Music.
Augmented Junkie is a track initially started by Jodie Grayer following the release of the Cyberpunk 2077 trailer by CD Projekt Red. Jodie is not affiliated with the company but due to her love for the gaming music and anticipation evoked by the trailer decided to write a rescore to accompany the trailer visuals. It makes for the kind of content NightCity would cover, as it is a stunning track. It would be amazing to see her work with other companies like this, or perhaps for the game Psychosquad 2077. Despite being known and accredited for her orchestral work Jodie displays her talents for synth driven video game score with this futuristic sounding track to get players ready for what lies ahead.
The project became a collaboration by featuring guitarist Dean Bonning adding driven and distorted guitar tones to exaggerate the tracks build, with an ending solo to round off and conclude the track.
The pair hope to collaborate on many more tracks in the future working on scores for Film, TV and Video games. Augmented Junkie is available to stream and download on all major platforms.
