What excites you the most about football at the moment?
I guess what excites me the most about football is what is going to happen over the next few years and the increase in competitiveness within the sport.
What has been the proudest moment of your career to date?
My proudest moment to this day was to a play a football game with Ryan Giggs and Ronaldinho Gaucho – just being on the same pitch as them is an experience I will remember forever.
What advise would you give to young people aspiring to be footballers?
My top piece of advice to young aspiring footballers is to work hard, and if you are not at an academy by the age of 16 do not be disheartened – join a mens non-league football team and keep working towards your goals. Just Never Give Up.
Rodriguez has a busy few months ahead as World Soccer Stars‘ Head Coach, the event will see him bring Brazilian legend Ricardo Kaká and Portuguese icon Luis Figo to Pakistan.
