Essex & Herts Air Ambulance (EHAAT) will be discussing the part played by wills in funding the Charity at a special event in Essex next month.
The Legacy & Will Information Event will take place at Little Channels near Chelmsford on March 6th at 1.30pm.
It will be a chance for supporters to learn about the will-making process and to hear how money left in wills helps support the Charity’s life-saving work.
At the event, which is free to attend, EHAAT Critical Care Paramedic Laurie Phillipson will talk about the Charity’s plans for the future.
Representatives from Nockolds Solicitors will explain the will-making process and discuss the advantages of making one. This will include how your will can be used to maximise relief from Inheritance Tax. They will be available to answer questions about making a will. Estate planning can be a tricky beast to navigate, especially when siblings have a dispute over a will – you may want to get in contact with a lawyer with expertise in this area to see how hurdles like this can be overcome.
It’s good to leave something behind for your family or as a gift to a charity but it’s best to leave clear instructions for how your assets are to be divided to avoid uncertainty and unnecessary squabbles. Doing so can help the loved ones you leave behind feel that they are being taken care of in your absence, which should also give you peace of mind. This is why it is a good idea to consult legal experts, such as these Eatons Solicitors in Bradford, to make sure your will is precise and correct.
