Look who came to Tendring town in the summer to shoot their Essex Fest!
TOWIE has returned to our screen on ITVbe this September, but in August they graced the outskirts of Essex with their presence at The House to shoot Georgias rainbow of colours, Yazmins angelic outfit, body art and of course the unfolding relationships. D
an and Amber were seen cuddling up in the fields, James got to bounce around on his space hopper whilst sorting out Shelbys and Clelias relationship and Lockie and Dan locked horns over who had started the rift.
‘The House’ team were delighted when they telephoned to ask if they could bring the TOWIE cast, extras and fans to ‘The House’ for a festival shoot. They set about coordinating a festival that was fit for TV, with garlands, bunting, paper lanterns, light up seats, bean bags, hay bales and a giant chess board.
“We had a wonderful time hosting the Essex Fest, it was so exciting to have celebrities in Tendring. The House was perfect for this sort of thing, as the grounds are made up of ornate courtyards which were perfect for Pete and Shelby to find a pocket of privacy to discuss their relationship. Tommy and Georgia enjoyed the ‘therapeutic’ meadows and Clelia and Gatsby had their first taste of Vegan Icecream in the festive fields. If the heatwave had subsided on us, we could have also taken it inside, and run a ‘House Party’, but as it was, the weather was glorious and everyone had fun in the sun, they even had a dip in the pool as the sun set to cool off! It was great that we could also open the festival to local fans of the show so that they could come and visit the cast and take those all important selfies with their idols. Tendring is a great place to live so its wonderful that the cast could experience what the area has to offer, and the local businesses such as caterers and beauty specialists benefited from the event also. It was Yazmin’s first festival as her Mother had told her not to visit one as people urinate in cups and throw them around. Thankfully the cast were extremely well behaved and this didn’t occur, so she was very pleased.
