A polish artist Janusz Chyrowski, know as “JC”, is creating unique and prestige canvas artworks which combine gilding technique and paint. All are in high demand among art connoisseur’s homes.
Paintings’ selling prices start from £15000 and are all currently sold out and in high demand.
The technique Chyrowski invented is based on his skill as a gilder and craftsman, coming with over 30 years experience and continuing his family tradition. The artist mixes 23ct gold leaves and paint strokes which creates a mesmerising image of contemporary art based on old techniques. Each artwork can measure up to 50” x 24”.
JC’s art also includes sculptures such as pyramids and famous gold bars made from lime wood, gesso and gold. These are currently on exhibition in USA and it is unknown when and if they will return back to the UK and whether they will be available on auctions.
The artist, born in Poland, has moved to the UK to reach international art dealers and has been in high demand among politicians, celebrities and even personalised pieces for the members of the royal family.
The artworks’ value increases dramatically. Chyrowski has worked with international interior designers to fit art into homes, restaurants and even yachts.
London auction houses are on the lookout for JC’s next piece which is rumoured to be released in Winter 2018.
