Hereford Films has unveiled the first photo of Josh Myers (Rise of the Footsoldier 3) as Frank Mitchell, ‘The Mad Axeman’ in their new film The Krays – Dead Man Walking.
6’ 3” Myers has become a familiar face on the British gangster film scene with appearances in The Sweeney, Green Street 3, I Am Soldier and the forthcoming Once Upon A Time In London. He recently worked on Fighting With My Family, produced by Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson.
Veteran producer Jonathan Sothcott noted “Josh has been on the cusp of Brit indie stardom for a while now and after he did such a great job for me in Bonded By Blood 2 he was the natural choice to play Frank Mitchell. He brought a real intensity and physical presence to the part and his scenes opposite Rita Simons really sizzle.”
Myers stars opposite Rita Simons, Leslie Grantham, Janine Nerissa, Guy Henry, Chris Ellison and Charlie Woodward in the new movie, which is released in September. The film marks the feature debut of writer/director Richard John Taylor and was shot by Ali Farahani, who was Director of Photography on the recent Oscar-winning short film The Silent Child.
