Primera Air has announced that it will launch five direct flights a week from London Stansted to Washington Dulles from 22 August 2018.
The low-cost airline, which starts flights from Stansted to New York and Boston in April and Toronto in May, is also increasing planned flight frequency to Toronto from August.
Andri Már Ingólfsson, President and owner of Primera Air, said:
“We’ve been planning to add Washington from the beginning of the transatlantic flight project. We see a strong demand for this route and we are the first low-cost airline to start operations between both cities, offering people an affordable way of transatlantic travel.”
