Classically trained sculptor turned food artist shows behind the scenes process as she reinvents the Easter egg…

Come behind the scenes. The hyper realistic chocolate eggs are replicas of British bird’s eggs from across the country and come in hand-painted high quality Belgian chocolate.

Sarah is lucky enough to be granted permission to have access to private collections of world-renowned museums. Her British bird egg research took her to the Natural History Museum, London.
From large Gulls eggs that are pointed in shape to ensure they don’t roll off cliff ledges, to a clutch of tiny nightingale eggs, this collection will delight the county-file fan and chocolate fiend alike.

As the creative process develops we can see a unique snap-shot of how a new chocolate product comes to life. High Resolution images of the final chocolates will be available on March 2 1018.
Anyone wanting to treat a wildlife fan, birdwatcher, or chocolate fanatic will be keen to get their hands on this gorgeous wooden collector’s box of British made British eggs this Easter.

Soon consumers can get their hands on these adorable chocolate delights, but will they do what many of Sarah’s customers do and refuse to eat them because they look so lovely? Fans across the globe say how they love the chocolates so much that they wait until the Best Before date to eat them, some even keep them as sculptures and never take a bite!

Sarah is a classically trained artist who, turning her sculpting skills to food, was soon in hot demand with ad and PR agencies for her lifelike cake creations. Clients and projects have included: The Jonathan Ross Show, The Odeon, Fanta, Baileys, Hello Kitty, Sega & Hamleys.

After a life changing move from London to a rural village on the Essex/Suffolk border, she decided to create a prêt-à-porter range of food-art available to all. The Edible Museum was born and now its online store for unique confectionery has a stream of avid fans who have even used the store’s life-like chocolate human heart as a proposal prop on Valentine’s Day!

Sarah is currently working alongside The Wildlife Trust London to create her Stag Beetle chocolate in conjunction with their annual stag-watch campaign.
