Colchester Film Festival’s two day film event is back with a bang this year, taking place at Firstsite Colchester and bringing together a selection of amazing feature and short films, talks from award winning filmmakers and networking events.
The 2017 Colchester Film Festival opens on Friday 3rd November with the gala screening of award winning documentary Unrest. The film explores the story of Jennifer Brea who is struck down by a fever that leaves her bedridden, she sets out on a virtual journey to document her story as she fights a disease that medicine forgot.
Before the film guests can arrive early to enjoy a drink and live music from local musician Cherchen Man.
The festival continues on Saturday 4th with a full programme of some of the best new short films from filmmakers around the globe including world, European and UK premieres. The five short film screenings showcase a wide range of genres, so whether you enjoy comedy, drama, romance, horror there will be films suitable for you.
