Freeport Braintree’s got an innovative programme of boredom-busting summer events to keep hot-and-bothered kids busy and sophisticated parents suitably chilled throughout the school holidays.
Essex’s premier outlet kicked off its schedule of events designed for little ones and exciting new shopping opportunities for grown-ups, with Skool’s Out for Summer on Tuesday 1 August.
Mum’s and dads are now able to leave their youngsters (aged 5-11 year) for a couple of hours. While the adults shopped, enjoyed lunch or caught up with friends over a coffee, the children were treated to craft-making sessions and entertained by some magical storytelling, all supervised by qualified nursery nurses.
Skools Out is available every Tuesday from 11am until 29 August.
