UK arts charity MMBF Trust has teamed up with Anna Kennedy OBE to provide opportunities for young people on the autism spectrum.
The scheme called the MMBF Anna Kennedy Award, is now open for entries and will run until the 1st of October 2017 and will present a wonderful chance for an aspiring filmmaker within the autism community to win a DSLR film camera with a runner up set to receive a 1-2-1 filmmaking day course and mentoring from the Trust.
Anna Kennedy OBE told us “I am so excited to be working with MMBF Trust and together and thankful we have created a wonderful opportunity for a young autistic indivudual.”
Megan Turner, chair of MMBF Trust told us ‘This scheme presents a wonderful opportunity to support minority groups that are very talented but greatly underrepresented within the current film industry.’
You can apply for the scheme from the 1st August here: http://www.mmbf.co.uk/anna-kennedy/4593952306
