Robin Windsor my lovely People’s Strictly Dance Partner and I have been chatting about the celebrities announced this week who will be dancing across the Strictly ballroom floor in 2018.
Robin shared with me:
‘Wow, what a FAB U LOUS line up we have this year for SCD – wishing I was still there so I could take Alexandra Burke for a spin around the floor – for me she’s the one to watch!
My favourite contestant this year is Ruth Langsford – I have wanted her to do the show for so long (I know she has too) she’s everything the show is about and I can’t wait to see her progress.
I’ve already paired up all the celebs with the pros – can’t wait to find out how wrong I am lol’
We both think it looks as if it’s going to be a brilliant series!
Earlier this week Jason Gilkison Strictly Choregrapher shared with me on Twitter that the Professionals were working hard in training and what a lovely lot the celebrities are .Its going to be fun!
Jason is so talented , patient and helped me perfect my charleston with Robin when we were training for Comic Relief.
I can imagine how excited all the celebrities are and cannot wait to see which dance professional they are paired with.
Everyone is speculating lets see who get’s it right!
The first show of the series will air on BBC One on the 9 September whoop.
