A local news outlet has been put up for sale by defiant owners who failed to ‘make it work’ according to reports.
News outlet London Post which has been running since 2014 has this week been listed as for sale by the current owners Regal Media who have failed to turn the local outlet supposed to serve the city of London into a money spinning venture.
A source close to the company has this morning told us “I don’t think there was ever a plan to make the venture work, it was one of those let’s start a news service! It should work because it is a news service type businesses”.
The news site along with social media accounts on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram is said to be on sale for £75,000 on a brokerage site that specualises in online businesses.
The site has also been blasted for failing to attract locals by not covering ‘actual London news’ as they concentrated on beauty, lifestyle and entertainment features.
