Actor Antony Cotton, better known as the friendly Sean Tully in Coronation Street, visited Chavasse VC House in Colchester last week.
The “I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!” star had already been to the three other H4H Recovery Centres; Phoenix House, Plymouth RC and Tedworth House, and wanted to complete the circle by visiting Colchester.
The centre aims to inspire those who have become wounded, injured or sick while serving our country. With an adaptive gym, a special Hope on the Horizon garden, a Support Hub, psychological well-being suite, en-suite bedrooms, family rooms and a creative kitchen.
Chavasse VC House has been specifically designed to offer the very best recovery atmosphere. It enables beneficiaries to lead active, independent and fulfilling lives while also supporting their loved ones.
Antony said: “I’ve heard some truly amazing, inspirational stories. I’ve now been to all four recovery centres. They’re just so different and are beautiful in their own way.”
