National Unplugging Day is a day of celebration and fun, where everyone is urged to come together and release their inner child, breaking free from technology and re-connecting with themselves and those they love.
This is the third national day following huge successes the previous years. Last year saw the involvement of over half a million UK families and major brands come together and participate on the day itself.
This year Zeamu Music, a revolutionary new music label created for kids aged 4 to 7, have joined the campaign. The label was launched to address the lack of original pop music for young fans. It is the home of The Zeamus, a four piece band of dynamic and vibrant animated characters: Zac, Eva, Aki and Mina who sing about the world through the eyes and ears of a child.
Zac Eva Aki Mina, The brain-child of Barbara Brenninkmeijer, a mother to 3 young children, Zeamu Music was created to “bridge the gap between nursery rhymes and Rihanna”.
Determined to create the soundtrack to children’s lives, the Zeamu team have produced a record that youngsters can relate to.
